Reverse Page Order - Free Online Browser Tool
Flip the order of pages from last to first.
A flip in one direction: this reverses the entire page sequence so the last page becomes the first. It solves the recurring problem of reverse-sided scans, back-to-out misfeeds, and the occasional book that was photographed starting from the back cover.
This reverse page order utility runs completely inside your web browser. Your document is opened locally and processed on your own device using JavaScript and WebAssembly, so your file is never uploaded to any server. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you can handle.

How to Use the Reverse Page Order Tool
Four steps, and the whole thing runs locally on your own device.
-
Load your document
Drop in the PDF whose order is backwards. The current first and last pages are shown so you can sanity-check before acting.
-
Preview the reversal
The panel shows what will become page one so you can confirm you are fixing the right document.
-
Reverse the sequence
Press Reverse Pages. Every page is re-sequenced from the end back to the beginning.
-
Download the corrected file
Save the reversed PDF. Page content itself is completely untouched — only the sequence changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will reversing flip the content inside each page?
No. Page order is inverted, but each page’s visual content and orientation stay exactly as they were.
Does this affect a document that is already correct?
It would turn a correct document wrong, so check the preview first. The preview panel shows the page that will end up first.
How is this different from Reorder Pages?
Reverse is a single fixed transformation. Reorder Pages is a general editor for arranging pages any way you like, including repeats and partial sequences.
Do hyperlinks between pages still work after reversing?
Links to surviving targets continue to resolve, but any statement in the text that refers to "page 12" now points at the wrong physical page.
Does reversing help a book scanned back-to-front?
Yes, that is precisely its purpose. If the pages were captured starting from the last page, reversing puts them back into reading order.
