Does reorganising pages re-compress the file?
No. The tool rewrites the page tree and leaves each page object alone, so the result stays the same size as the original and the text remains selectable. Rotating is a page-attribute change, which costs nothing.
Can I reorder pages using the free version?
Yes, and there is no limit on how many pages you rearrange. Everything is reordered locally in your browser, which is also why it stays fast on a long document.
How do I keep only the even pages of a duplex scan?
Use the odd/even extractor rather than deleting pages one at a time. It keeps the side you choose across the whole document in a single operation, which avoids the off-by-one mistakes that come with repeated manual deletions.
