Page Adjustments Tools
Page size, margins and compression are the settings that decide whether a PDF prints cleanly, fits a slide, or stays small enough to email. These tools change those settings without touching the content.
- Resize to A4, A5, Letter or any custom size, with the content scaled or simply refitted
- Crop margins, re-centre the block on the page, or normalise mixed sizes into one
- Compress raster images, flatten to greyscale, or invert colours for scanned pages

Page Adjustments FAQ
What is the difference between scaling content and refitting it?
Scaling changes the size of the text and images themselves, which can make small text unreadable. Refitting moves and rotates the existing content block so it sits correctly on a new page, leaving its size alone. Use scaling when you want the page to look full, and refitting when legibility matters more.
How much can compression actually shrink a PDF?
It depends almost entirely on what is inside. A scanned document full of raster images can drop dramatically, often by half or more, because the images are genuinely being re-encoded. A text-only PDF generated digitally is already compact and will barely change, because there is little redundant image data to remove.
Will compression make my text blurry?
No. Compression here only targets embedded raster images. Selectable text is vector data and is passed through untouched, so headings and body copy stay perfectly sharp at any zoom level.
