Add Printer Crop & Trim Marks - Free Online Browser Tool
Add professional offset crop marks, fold guides, and registration targets for print shops.
Printers need crop marks to know where the artwork ends, fold guides to know where to fold, and registration targets to check their press is aligned. This tool adds all three outside the trim area, where they will be cut away and so will not appear on the finished piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the marks appear on the printed piece?
No, provided they sit outside the trim line. That is the whole reason bleed and margin exist — marks go in the area the guillotine removes.
What are registration targets for?
They let the printer verify plate alignment. Each target has crosshairs that must line up exactly, showing any offset between the printing plates.
What are fold guides?
Dashed lines showing where the sheet should be folded. They tell the finisher exactly where to crease so the fold lands on the intended line.
Do I also need bleed?
For any design with colour or imagery reaching the edge, yes — add 3mm or 5mm bleed so slight cutting inaccuracies do not leave a white sliver.
Will adding marks change my page size?
Yes, the page expands to accommodate the mark area. Keep the trim size unchanged — that is what the printer cuts to.
