Inspect Form Field Properties - Free Online Browser Tool
Read form field names, values, flags, tooltips, and parent groups without changing the PDF.
A field inventory tells you what exists; a property inspection tells you why a form behaves the way it does. This read-only tool reports field names, types, tooltips, values, flags, visibility and group relationships without saving or changing the source PDF.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this change my form?
No. It is read-only and does not call the PDF save operation.
What is the difference from List Form Fields?
List Form Fields gives a compact inventory. This tool adds flags, tooltips, defaults, visibility, raw values and parent/group details.
Are XFA forms supported?
XFA is reported as unsupported or unknown. The inspector focuses on standard AcroForm fields.
Can calculated display values be evaluated?
No. The report records stored values and flags; it does not execute JavaScript calculations or formatting rules.
Is form data uploaded?
No. Inspection and report generation happen entirely in the browser.
