Label Page Ranges - Free Online Browser Tool
Stamp a range label on each page of a bundle, so a separated document can be reassembled.
Once a bundle is separated — in the post, in a filing system, or by one page falling out — a lone page tells you nothing about where it belongs. A range label on every page removes that problem, because any page then identifies both its bundle and its position.
This label page ranges utility runs completely inside your web browser. Your document is opened locally and processed on your own device using JavaScript and WebAssembly, so your file is never uploaded to any server. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you can handle.

How to Use the Label Page Ranges Tool
Four steps, and the whole thing runs locally on your own device.
-
Load the bundle
The whole document, before it is separated.
-
Choose the label format
Page ranges for filing, a single page number, or a bundle code with a position within it.
-
Set the bundle size
Twenty-five pages per bundle is the usual convention. Bundle mode is the one that survives separation best.
-
Pick a corner and download
A small white backing keeps the label readable over a dark image.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which format is most useful?
Bundle code with position. A range says which bundle a page came from but not where in it; a bare page number says nothing once pages from two bundles are mixed.
Will the label be readable over a photograph?
Yes. A semi-opaque white backing is drawn behind the text so it stays legible even on a dark image, at the cost of a small patch of the picture.
Does it change the page count?
No. It stamps existing pages; it does not add or remove any.
Can I label a document after it has been split?
Yes, and that is often easier — run it on each part with its own bundle code, so each part is self-identifying.
Can the labels be removed later?
No. They are drawn into the page content like any other stamp, so removing them means starting from the original.
