Page Filmstrip - Free Online Browser Tool
Render every page into one tall continuous image, for reviewing a document quickly.
Sharing ten separate page images is impractical when you want someone to glance at a whole document, and pasting ten attachments into a message is worse. A filmstrip is one image containing all the pages in sequence, which is what a reader needs for a quick review.
This page filmstrip utility runs completely inside your web browser. Your document is opened locally and processed on your own device using JavaScript and WebAssembly, so your file is never uploaded to any server. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you can handle.
- 100% client-side - files never leave your device
- Instant processing, no upload wait
- Works on desktop, tablet and mobile
- Free forever, no account required

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it called a filmstrip?
Because that is exactly what it is — frames of the document laid end to end, as contact sheets have been called since photography.
Can I read the text in it?
At 800 pixels per page, most body text is legible. Below that it is a layout check, not a reading copy.
How tall does the image get?
Proportional to the page count. A fifty page document at 400 pixels wide is a very tall image, which some viewers will scale down and some will refuse to open.
What about a document with mixed page sizes?
All pages are scaled to the same width so the strip lines up, which means a landscape page appears shorter than a portrait one of equal width.
Is this a substitute for the PDF?
No. It is a review aid. Anyone who needs to read, search or zoom should have the PDF itself.
